Then it tells you what to change.

Most apps store your sets. Swolver works out what they are telling you.

  1. Log it

Routines, splits, rep ranges, a rest timer. Or bring years of history over in one file.

    Free
  2. See it coming

The watchlist names every lift showing an early sign, in plain words, before it would count as a stall. The more often you train a lift, the sooner it reads it.

  3. Know why it stalled

When a lift goes flat, you get the reason in plain words and the one change to make. The numbers from your own weeks that show it are a tap away.

    Free
  4. Four weeks, written, then checked

A plan built for that reason, every session and every set. Miss a session and it stretches, not breaks. At the end, Swolver checks whether it moved the lift, and says so if it didn't.

Step 2 · The watchlist

See it coming.

One list of every lift showing an early sign: reps coming up short, a slide under your best, no new best for a while, or a lift getting harder when you say how many more you could have done. Each one says why, and a lift comes off on its own when it moves again. The more often you train a lift, the sooner it reads it.

Inside the app

Swolver's fix for a stalled Bench Press: 8 sets a week at 185 lb, which the coach's plan already does, two lifts to add with Add to Upper B and Add to Upper A, a check for a new best by Nov 14, and the four-week plan
Why it stalled, and what to doThe likely cause in plain words, the one change to make, and your own numbers a tap away. With Pro, the coach's sessions follow the change, and a lift it suggests goes into your routine in one tap.
Swolver's four-week plan for Bench Press: a test on Nov 14 to beat 185 x 8, two sessions a week at 185 x 8 for four sets, then the lift's bests
Four weeks, writtenEvery session of the fix, set by set, ending in a test. Miss your reps and that session repeats.
Swolver's Home: a 15-week streak with one session to go this week, then the coach's plan for the next session, Upper B, with Bench Press at 185 x 8 for four sets in week 1 of its plan
Every session, already worked outCoach mode writes each lift's next sets from what you did last time. When a lift is stalled, its plan takes over.

Every rule is on the page.

Other apps say "personalized" and ask you to trust them. Swolver publishes how it decides: every rule, its sources, and where the evidence behind it is thin.

Your weekly work dropped: restore the weekly sets that lift was getting when it moved.

Where the evidence is thin. Swolver never tells you a weekly set target … the number it names is the weekly sets your own log shows this lift was getting when it was still moving, never a number from a paper.

Questions

Is Swolver free?

Logging, every program, the reason a lift stalled, Something Hurts, importing and exporting, and sharing your progress are all free, with no limit. Pro adds the plan that fixes a stall, the check that it worked, the coach that writes your sessions, a watchlist of lifts showing early signs, and the home screen widget.

How is this different from Strong or Hevy?

They are good logs. Swolver is a log too, but it also reads what your log is saying: when a lift stops moving, it tells you why from your own weeks, and the rules it uses are published so you can check them.

Can I bring my history over?

Yes. Export from Strong, Hevy, Fitbod or JEFIT and pick the file in Swolver. You see what it holds before anything is written, and importing the same file twice adds nothing twice.

Can I share a routine?

Yes. Send it as a file from the routine. Whoever taps it on Android can open it in Swolver's import.

Is it on iPhone?

Not yet. Swolver is on Android first.

Do I need an account?

You sign in with your email, and a code arrives there. No password. Your log is saved to your account so a new phone gets it back.

Is Something Hurts medical advice?

No. It shows which lifts load a sore joint and which ones spare it. If something hurts, see someone qualified to look at it.

How do I delete my account?

In the app under Settings, or on this site. Your training history is deleted with it.
